That's pretty cool. I imagine with some new UV printing systems that you could get some smooth parts that don't have that rough 3D printed look, probably more consistent thickness for thin parts like this too.
I have a decent amount of 3d printing experiance and have done some 3d printed speaker housings. SLA (uv) printers do have some great resolution and can do very thin parts if needed. A combination of SLA and FDM printers could yield a much better speaker. The printed passive radiator is the star of the show in my opinion as this is ready for the real world. I'm sure that passive radiator is much better than many of the passive radiators of the 80's that were nothing more than cardboard and a surround.
