Caps and coils?

In the simplest way to put it, a cap blocks DC and passes AC. A coil blocks AC and passes DC. This obviously happens in degrees, so that's where my question comes in. Which direction do we go with farads and henrys? Does a higher farad cap block lower frequencies and a higher henry coil block higher frequencies?

If you look at it in terms of the cutoff frequency itself, going larger on either value will drive that cutoff frequency down.
